As part of 半岛体育’s global programs, students ventured on a nine-day cultural and educational journey across Spain, with the main event being a 圆形广场 Global Conference in Madrid, which gathered nearly 200 participants from 15+ countries. 这些体验旨在培养全球公民意识，培养跨文化理解，并鼓励学生深入了解周围的世界。 学生们还能够以身临其境的方式学习西班牙语。

From Barcelona’s iconic landmarks to Madrid’s vibrant streets, the group explored Spain’s rich history, diverse culture, and innovative approaches to urban living.

They also dove into Spanish cuisine, trying tapas and churros, and began contemplating how Spain’s culture compared to their own, framing the questions they would explore throughout the trip:

During the 圆形广场 conference hosted by SEK School in Madrid, students formed connections with peers from around the globe, including new friends from Namibia, India, Peru and beyond. 会议包括生动的文化交流，如弗拉门戈表演，以及在圣马梅斯山区营地的活动。

• Exploring Madrid’s Cultural Riches:
  Students explored the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, and El Sobrino de Botín—the world’s oldest restaurant—while reflecting on Spain’s historical significance. A walking tour highlighted the city’s architectural beauty and the role of urban design in shaping daily life.
  • Memorable Moment: “The Royal Palace is like stepping into a storybook. I can’t believe it has over 3,000 rooms!” – Nicolas

  At a rustic mountain camp, students hiked, played games, and tasted artisanal goat cheese from a local quesería.
  • Highlight: “The cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had—it was rich, creamy, and unforgettable.” – Ayden
